From James Halliday’s 2015 Australian Wine Companion (

The startling pink-bronze colour must reflect the high alcohol and some skin contact; it is extremely aromatic (for a relatively non-aromatic variety) and complex on the palate, with spice and poached pear flavours, plus creme brulee, throwing all preconceptions of pinot gris out of the window. Rating 92 – to 2016.

Tasting notes:
With a rich, smooth texture, this pinot gris displays lifted wildflowers on the nose with classic pear and caramel on the palate, and is well balanced by a clean, crisp finish.
