From James Halliday’s 2013 Australian Wine Companion (www.winecompanion.com.au):
Ruby red; it overflows with small red fruits and a degree of plum that fill the mouth with unequivocal varietal flavour; the palate is particularly well-balanced and long, and the wine needs several years to really show its best. A singular achievement for the Southern Highlands. Rating 93 – to 2017.
Won a bronze medal at the 2012 South Coast (NSW) Wine Show.
Deep crimson colour with a rich purple-crimson hue. Redolent with ripe cherry red & black berry aromas with subtle spicy hints. Elegant palate with excellent structure – subtle oak & firm tannins on a lingering finish.
